Well that’s two hours of my life better spent sleeping. What a disappointment! That was probably the most boring Austen film ever made. They managed to take all the humour and joy out of one of Jane Austen’s funniest books, and turned her characters into just plain nasty or boring caricatures. Speaking of sleep - at least two people were literally snoring in the cinemas by about the half way mark! Save your money and your time in much more interesting pursuits like ironing sheets or counting slowly to one million.
