So, I’m supposed to root for this guy who goes on to murder dozens of innocent people in his quest for personal vengeance? Predictable at every turn. This is the kind of film that conspiracy theorists fantasize about. Plot holes abound - like what exactly was the purpose of killing the dude’s innocent family to begin with? It’s only purpose that I can see is as a source of some kind of justifiable unhinged bloodlust by the central character.
Don’t get me started on the unexplained close ‘family friends’ living on a compound in Baja who have a squadron of hit men on staff but supposedly are innocent bystanders? Gimme a break! And why does their daughter who lives in Mexico speak English with no accent at all, while both parents have strong Spanish ones? Such an obvious tiny oversight. No offense to the actress playing the 12 yr old daughter, but whoever wrote the script seems to think that 12 yr old girls talk and and act like they're 6 when they're around their fathers. Perhaps the auther never spent any actual time with his own children...
Finally, if that drug is worth billions because it cures PTSD, then why the F is this character a walking poster child for PTSD?
