Give this show a chance before leaving negative reviews. If I would’ve left a review after watching the first episode, I probably would’ve given this series 1 star. But we all know series now are focused on getting to know the characters and their history as well as personalities. So before you dive into the review/comment section, at least watch the 1st season or the first 3-4 episodes. And remember, the concept is supposed to be based on a retired intelligence officer, who is supposed to be middle aged! Not young and hip. I think people forget that. Excellent spin-off of the Equalizer Movies starring Denzel Washington. (Yes I’m aware there was an Equalizer series in the 80’s.) The Equalizer series reimagines the classic narrative with a fresh and thrilling twist. Instead of centering on a single agent/character, the series introduces a series of new and refreshing characters who each possess unique characteristics, abilities and traits that fit the narrative. Queen Latifah does an exceptional job of equalizing the odds while being a mom to a teenage brat. She definitely fits the roll of a retired intelligence agent who wants justice for those who can’t turn to the police. The series is wonderful, but I would like to see more hands-on action from Latifah. A lot of the bawl scenes are cut & heavily edited. I think a stunt actor would do this series justice. Harry, Mel, Aunt Vi & Detective Dante are great additions to the show. A few things I love about this show is that it’s not repetitive like the Law & Order series. (Which I absolutely love Law & Order) There are different storylines each episode which makes the Equalizer series interesting and entertaining. Another PRO is that Robyn McCall is not focused on romance. I absolutely hate watching crime dramas, where the focus steers away from the crime dialogue and gears more into romance. I love how Robyn can get into action and quickly turn into the understanding mother a teenage girl needs. A great tv show to watch if you like action & thrills. Give it a chance and stop being bratty like Dee!

I do not understand the 5 star ratings!!!!! People must be getting paid to write reviews for this movie! I’ve tried to write a review on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB. My comment could not be posted on both websites! Why?!!! Because it’s not a 4-5 star rating?! Oh please! No plot! No real conflict, no rising action and if the major tornado at the end was the climax, the writers could’ve done a better job. Mark Smith definitely rushed the screenplay by writing a bunch of nonsense on Microsoft Word and thinking it would be a big hit because there were a few minor issues and tornadoes every other scene. Twisters lacked excitement. The original Twister ride at Universal Studios was far more exciting and enjoyable than this remake. The two main characters did not fit well together. Watching Glen Powell and Daisy Jones as love interests was a bit awkward. The two characters did not match nor did they have any real chemistry. I would’ve rather seen the two characters remain friends or even enemies to make the storyline more compelling. Instead, it made the movie very predictable and boring to watch. EVERYONE KNEW THEY WOULD FALL IN LOVE! Kate was perceived as a genius, but the writers could’ve done a better job with properly portraying her character as having the intelligence the supporting characters claimed she had. Instead, we got dandelions and “how the wind blows” and a quick outlook on her high school science fairs. Twisters was not harrowing, bold or intense. It was boring, repetitive and a terrible remake. The only reason I gave Twisters 2 stars is due to my children. We have family movie night often with our entire family and my kids who are 8, 10, & 11 enjoyed the movie. However, the only thing my children could remember after the movie was over was the fire at the end! My adult family members enjoyed our outing and we all loved the reporter, because that’s when we laughed the most! For a family movie night with young children, it’s a great watch because there aren’t any sexual scenes, which I loved, but as an adult, I hated everything about this movie!

Everyone should tune in to watch this series. I can admit, the first episode will leave you on the edge of your seat and desperate to find answers. Especially the longing question of who killed Reena. However, as the series continued, it fell short. It became extremely repetitive and tedious to watch. Under the Bridge focuses on bullying and the day-to-day trauma a teen goes through just by being themselves. It also highlights how teens are desperate to fit in and have friends. The way the teens treated Reena would've sent me running, but thinking of a teen who is longing for acceptance within her peers, made the series very relatable. In my opinion, this series would've been better if it was turned into a movie instead of a mini tv series. After researching the true story, a lot of scenes were uncalled for.

I saw an ad for The 355 on Peacock and made the mistake of browsing through the reviews before watching. If it weren't for the trailer that captivated my attention, I wouldn't have given this movie a chance. I'm glad I did! However, I was not surprised at the overwhelming amount of negative Google Reviews. (made mainly by egotistical men) The 355 is an action-packed film with a remarkable cast of women who did an outstanding job portraying their characters. CIA agent Mace (Jessica Chastain) and her partner Nick Fowler are on a mission to buy a top-secret decryption device capable of controlling any digital system around the world. Their objective is to buy the device and hand it over to the CIA. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned for Mace & Fowler due to a rival German BND agent name Marie (Diane Kruger), who interrupted the sale by snatching a bag that she thinks contains the decryption device. Unbeknownst to agent Marie, the bag she grabbed was actually the CIA’s money. After Mace loses the money and her partner is killed, the CIA removes Mace from the case. Her supervisor Larry Marks tells Mace he'll cover her a** if she chooses to recover the device on her own and to seek revenge for her partner's death. Mace quickly teams up with an old friend, an MI6 agent named Khadijah. (Lupita Nyong’o) Mace and Khadijah try once again to recover the device, but fail. Mace and Khadijah barges in on agent Marie and finds DNI agent/psychologist Graciela Rivera (Penélope Cruz) by her side. Khadijah thinks they should team up since they're all after the same thing. (The device) Everything a person is looking for within an action film is within The 355, such as: a great plot, diversity, empathy, a plot twist, and of course, plenty of action from beginning to end!There was never a dull moment, in my opinion. The movie started with action and ended with a semi-touching sisterhood. (solely based on the characters and their personalities.) I can definitely see a sequel in the future and I'm already anxiously awaiting! In response to Google Reviews I read a lot of comments stating: women could never “pull this off” or the “actresses” should've been “actors” and “their vocabulary wasn't up to par.” Not only are men having a hard time adjusting to seeing women in action movies and carrying the lead roles, but they're also under the impression that women can't fight or think for themselves. They must be living in La La Land. Within my profession, women and men are highly trained to deal with similar incidents. (no I'm not referring to the army or any police force.) I know several women who will and can take down a man without much effort. Vocabulary has nothing to do with what a person is truly capable of accomplishing. I also read a comment stating: the movie was racist. There wasn't a racist line within the movie. All the negative reviews sums up that men will find anything to complain about! It's a movie for goodness sakes! Like it or don't! But please do not downplay women! The 355 was an awesome movie. Give it a chance! 5/5! I loved it!

I was anxiously waiting to watch The Sandman, but after the first episode, I was quickly disappointed. The first episode was rather interesting. The Sandman was summoned and captured. He was held hostage for a century and once he was free, he found out his kingdom was destroyed. The second episode was boring. Too much talking and not enough action. To be the King of Dreams, Morpheus has no personality and no life within him. He’s a boring character that could’ve been better if someone else played him. I understand every writer wants to include the LGBTQ community, but within episode 5 (24/7) it seems as if the writers were forcing the gay agenda within the show to make sure it has a placement. It was very overwhelming and couldn’t be enjoyed. Episode 5 was cringeworthy. It had absolutely nothing to do with the show what so ever. I honestly felt like I was watching episodes of a water-down Twilight. The show was repetitive, tedious and slow. None of the characters were likeable. I don’t see this show as long lasting. I doubt it will make it to a season 3.

For starters - I honestly can't believe the negative & racist comments regarding Girls Trip, & I'm surprised Google has not taken them down, but I won't report them because I want the world to see how silly non-African Americans act when it comes to an all-black cast. Secondly, I had the pleasure of watching this movie in theaters with my friends & mother in 2017. We had a fantastic time & literally laughed during most of the movie. I decided to leave a review now because I was able to watch it alone. I think I laughed more now then I did years ago. Tiffany Haddish definitely brought the humor I was searching for. Although her character was a little over the top during some scenes, but we all have that one friend who has no filter. 😂 I'm not sure why the comments assume the cast was type-casted and stereotypical. The movie is about 4 friends who reunite after year's of being apart for a wild Girls Trip. Regina Hall as Ryan did an amazing job of portraying the friend who wanted to keep the perfect image in the public eye. - She had to keep up a certain image in order to maintain her celebrity status. Jada Pinkett was the mother of two children & decided to let loose on the only vacation she's taken since having kids. I'm sure a lot of parents can relate, single or married. Queen Latifah was amazing as always. She was the owner of a celebrity blog & although her career could've been more substantial, it fit the script. She played her role perfectly & came out winning in the end. From the drunken scenes to the club fights, it was all humor! Nothing more! There wasn't one racist line in the movie as some of the comments say! I just don't think people understand good comedy. American Pie was more gritty than Girls Trip. Jada Pinkett & Queen Latifah are a match made in heaven. I would love to see more movies with the two as the main characters. I was hoping there would be a Girls Trip 2, but it doesn't seem like it! Overall, great movie, very humorous and nontrigging.

I can’t understand why this movie has ONE star! I can definitely understand that most women would not be able to relate, but the movie was downright funny and inspiring. I saw the movie back in 2006 when it first came out, but now after watching it again I can definitely say I’m a fan! Yes the movie was cheesy, but it’s suppose to be! Non of the characters were doing any serious acting. The movie was intended to uplift heavy set women. Some scenes were overly dramatic, but the storyline itself was great.

All About The Benjamins was made for laughs only! I see a lot of comments from other blogs where viewers didn't under the humor. The movie wasn't made to be cutting edge or serious. It was made for laughs. A bounty hunter sets out to find a criminal he's been watching, but they end up becoming partners to take down a criminal mastermind. Ice Cube & Mike Epps we're both hilarious. I would like to see more movies with brown women as wives, but it is what it is! Great movie either way!
