A really good effort from J.J. to try and steer the crappy vehicle that Johnson left for him.
However they should have given the film 3hrs or make 2 movies because the content they tried to get thru was too rushed and didn’t earn it. Very reminiscent of Game of Thrones’ last season.

Would have been an excellent addition to the First Class series if this was not the apparent finale people are claiming. There was definitely more to mine in this franchise and the ending just felt like it was setting up another. 3.5/5
