I honestly have no idea why people, who like other supernatural dramas, don't like this.. The pacing does start out a bit weird in the 1st couple episodes, and it seems to give off the unmistakable impression of a YouTube series, verses and bigger studio budget production.. However, once you get to know the characters, and understand the reason behind their sometimes confusing & cryptic interactions with each other & the townspeople, you really appreciate the actor's subtlety. The main couple are a delight to watch & have a real chemistry with each other (some other reviews have mentioned it being wooden, but you realize why they act wooden towards each other a lot at the end of season 1. Strained relationships often result on wooden acting towards one anorher..) and the kids, who at first seem like the actors are playing a bit awkwardly, turn out to be understandably awkward & relatable. The monsters in the show have been a bit re-imagined, which might lead to some confusion in the beginning.. But, once u get the hang of their world & the secret agency tasked with hunting & destroying them, you get suckef right into the story. On top of this, the location shooting is really beautiful... I'd say, "Give it a shot, u may enjoy it".. The most unsatisfying part to me was that it didn't get picked up for another season.
