Daisy Craythorn

I don't ever write reviews like this, but this show is exceptional and deserves every 5 stars it gets. I enjoyed every single second of it, it was captivating and captured a teenage love story beautifully. I loved how real the characters were. I felt like I could relate to each one of them. The show normalizes normal teenage things such as acne and includes realistic portrayals of neurodivergent people. While many of these characters had "labels" (like Wilhelm being a prince or Sara having Asbergers) each character has so much more to them, which is rarely seen in other shows. Similarly, they cast actual teenagers to play each role, so they depict real-life teenage experiences in modern-day society. I finished watching this show weeks ago but cannot stop thinking about it; I have rewatched it over 6 times and am even learning Swedish because of it. This is the first show to really touch me and get me thinking. I love every single one of the cast members and creators. They are using their platforms to spread change, and I really admire them for that. Anyway, this show is amazing and I strongly recommend it to everyone.
