This is probably in the top three Friday the 13th movies for me & we get a final chapter like no other. Taking place on the heels of part three, the final chapter finds Jason revived & ready to kill again. Just in time to kill some new vacationers on Crystal Lake, and terrorize a family living next-door in which we first meet, Tommy Jarvis. A budding special effects artist, And we even get a hunter on Jason’s trail he’s out for revenge. To be fair this movie is about the same thing you’ve seen over and over for the prior three movies. But the acting is good here, we get a young Corey Feldman, Crispin Glover, Bruce Mahler. One things for sure this movie is scary as hell, the kills her over the top and gory. Not to mention Jason himself, This time played by Ted white, Really makes it scary and intimidating Jason.We also get one of the best ending ever for a Friday the 13th movie. This is the definitive one, guys and everything After is a mixed bag. This is also probably the last Friday the 13th filmed to really post the big box office numbers as well

When you have a horror series that’s start to stagnate, and the pressure is on to keep things fresh....I give u, JASON TAKES MANHATTAN. Or a cruise ship. The big problem here is he never arrives in NY until the last 30, making this a slap to fans and a somewhat clunky sequel that is also virtually bloodless. On the positive note, Kane Hodder gives Jason some real menace, the acting is good, and the bigger budget gives the movie a slick look. They tried something different and almost ruined the whole series, but I still kinda like it.

very interesting script, this is kind of like in the vein of the first few fast and furious movies, but now the race to hype up this latest installment and I’ll do the previous ones backfires. Really Dom has a brother? What did we learn this all the way back in 2001? But then again this is the movies. This is the weakest effort ever.
