Through episode 5 I am disappointed. The chase scenes are silly, most of the fight scenes are meh, the story lines are painfully obvious. To be fair about the story lines, we know the ultimate outcome so there is only so much for the writers to work with. That being said, the writers are trying to be clever but the reveals come across as obvious and clunky. I feel for the actresses and actors as many of the lines and script is not good. I am sure the actresses and actors are doing their best, but the lines are so bad it makes many of them come across as struggling. The book of Boba was decent, rough at times but enjoyable at others. Mandolorian was excellent almost the entire time. With Kenobi I find myself saying what? That’s ridiculous, that scene makes no sense, that’s way too goofy to be in the same universe, why are we wasting time on that, and I hope this scene ends soon too often. But if you liked the sequels you will probably enjoy Kenobi. There are some parallels with the writing and action scenes so there is some consistency there.
