Definitely not for people who are looking for an in your face supernatural horror film. This one is chock full of symbolism. Also, as abhorrent as cannibalism is, a film about it that tries to get you to feel sympathetic towards the cannibals might fly over some people's heads if they don't grasp the symbolism.
It's cinematography is beautiful. It's more creepy that terror inducing. It leaves you feeling shelled out and lost and I like any film that can make you feel put in it - this one accomplished that. The only thing I didn't like was it felt like something important had been left on the editor's cutting floor.
