Loved it! An original, suspenseful, unpredictable drama/thriller that is beautifully shot in Barcelona. But, unlike a lot of Netflix shows from abroad, “Who is Erin Carter?” is in English. Netflix should do this more often, as it does seem to be their goal to introduce Americans to foreign shows.
I found this show to be binge-worthy, and would’ve watched it uninterrupted if I didn’t need to eat, sleep, shower, work, and care for my family, friends, and pets.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because some aspects are completely unbelievable. A little unbelievability is expected in a thriller, but this pushed the limits, especially towards the end.
Still, it’s a fun ride. At times it’s light and bright; other times it’s very dark and frightening, especially for Erin’s daughter. Jordi, Erin’s husband, is too good to be true. He seems to enjoy being in a state of denial and ignorance rather than know who he is really married to, or deal with the extreme danger that could get them all killed.
