The only reason I have kept my overpriced Spectrum TV package is because I can record Colbert and watch the next day without the endless commercials and sometimes lame interviews. My time is too important and my life too short to spend time filling my brain with useless programming. However, Colbert's monologues are saving my sanity. He and his writers put a spin on the destruction Trump and his lackeys are inflicting on the country, the wildlife, and ultimately the planet. Colbert concentrates on Trump because smart people in the world can't believe what is happening - fraud, collusion, lies. If we didn't laugh, we'd be crying.
