The outfits, luxury and opulent events are a feast for the eyes. What sets this show apart from other wealth based shows are the values and grace that their culture has instilled in women (much of what is lost in western culture) There may be scripted drama but everyone is a beautiful and educated person by the end of it all. I love the respectful relationships between all partners and how nobody ever quits on a spouse despite a heated disagreement. The moment with LJ and her mom brought tears to my eyes unlike any show. It shows that nobody weather poor or rich can escape hardship but the purpose is to not give in.
