This book is all about how a girl grew up hating her mom for staying in an abusive relationship but later experiences the same with the person whom she loved, she understands how difficult it is to come out of a abusive relationship and why still 85% of women go back to their abusers . NOWHERE DID COHO SUPPORT ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP! I too fell in love with Ryle just how lily did and at times when she was trying to cover up for him i too was giving excuses for his actions. But just like her i too understood that it is best to leave him and go to a person who is more genuine and loves her truly. Sometimes i do feel bad for Ryle it is really sad that he had to go through what he went through and that really affects your life, almost destroys it. Feeling bad for him doesn't mean i'm supporting his wrong actions , after all "There is no such thing as bad people. We’re all just people who sometimes do bad things.”
