This movie was such a wonderful tribute to girlhood, Judy Blume, growing up, and ... just NORMAL life. So many movies now are just over the top with in-your-face_____________ (fill in the blank). But this was beautiful, moving and the acting was excellent. I was transported to my childhood and one of my all-time favorite books.
