Just a few episodes in and I'm already disappointed with this show. An entire home gets flipped for 1/3rd of the Reno budget proposed on this show. Every episode has the same theme, something not working out, additional costs etc and for which they chop one or two or sometimes even more rooms which desperately needs a do ever. Isn't that the reason they are consulting a professional architect/designer! I am sorry but this show just frustrated me! The realtor however does a bang on job, most of the houses he shows are just gorgeous.

Don't go by reviews, because majority have confused the genre and expect it to be either horror or psychological thriller. But it's neither. It's an unique take on social evils with a folklore as a backdrop. Visually stunning and great performances. the character development is restricted to only two characters as they are the key to the story telling. There are a few mistakes here and there but they are not as inexcusable as so many reviewers are making them to be. It's a good one time watch. P.s: watch out for the two real horror scenes and they are filmed in greyish natural shades rather than the red used in abundance everywhere else.

This is a Man's idea of what feminism is. Unnecessary over-dramatic dialogues, poorly written and executed characters (not a single one is likable including the heroine), the unnecessary slo-mo walk of protagonist every few minutes, caractaurish villain, and many more aspects are down right irritating. Time-line doesn't make sense. Every man involved tries to help the heroine with the intension on marrying her or is smitten by her. (As if that's the only challenge faced by a working/business woman). Give this movie a miss (India).

Really didn't care for the winner. Their style is an acquired taste. The hotel room design was an absolute nightmare and then that barber shop despite the owner not being in favour of a particular color just splashing it in multiple shades all over was a shame. Also the holiday cottage renovation went south because of their stubbornness and a deserving candidate was eliminated. There was no growth or even refinement as it is evident even in the final episode where that bedroom is opposite of what the home owner wanted. Despite being told in the beginning of the episode to be careful enough to understand the fact that they aren't designing these places for themselves. And when asked blatantly told that space was for me! I mean I can't with this! If I were the home owner I would have thrown a fit and just made them re do the entire room!
