If I can give this 0.1 stars, I would. I'm not sure where to begin, but I have to begin somewhere. The movie was nothing like the books, except maybe the loose character representation. It felt like they tried stuffing way too much into an hour and a half of film. Anyone who has ever thoroughly read and enjoyed the books will agree with me. All of the other reviews have already covered what went wrong with this film. Seems like nobody who produced, directed, or even acted in this movie took the time to read and understand the paperback series. In the first book, the Russian mob is responsible for Artemis' father's "disappearance", and his father knew nothing of fairies. The whole plot and storyline in the film is shameful at best. I hope another one is not made.
