The technology presented is a reasonable depiction of the containment/launch hardware necessary to implement a "warp bubble" as a means of interstellar travel. Dr. Sagan and others had accurate visions, such a possibility exists. At the moment, the "bubble" has yet to be created and our technology lacks the ability to even detect it's presence should we manage to create one. Also lacking is the requirement of a negative energy density power source. But it IS tantalizing.
