Great game for 90% of its runtime. Fantastic visuals, a good story that doesn't drag, and good gameplay make me love most of my journey with it. Did I say a good story? because that's true until you get to the sloppy last half hour. The questionably written ending is the only thing I believe was able to shift my view. It felt rushed and left a bad aftertaste. I truly believe this game could have been a 10/10 for what it was going for (that being a linear next gen story game), but I feel like some executive took a look at it, and decided why give the fans what they want. What would have been a 10.0 for me is now like a 7.2 :/

Price aside, this is a bland empty, and ugly game. The UI is monstrous, the open world is barren, the Grand Prix mode is restricting, and nothing about this game is as innovative as they acted. I'd give it 3 stars if it were $60, but its 80
