I was so disappointed. The story of Marie Curie taught me as a child of the incredible abilities and accomplishments of women. By heavily interspersing scenes of the most horrific aspects of radioactivity the movie appears to demonize Curie's accomplishments. In this movie version, the bad far overshadows the vast positive impact of her discoveries. It also takes her from a strong independent woman to a trollop dependent upon men. Perhaps you can watch the movie and not feel that it appeared to make her solely responsible of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
