I’ve been a die-hard MCU fan for 10+ years, and despite what other people are saying, I really enjoyed this movie!! It was witty, interesting, and gripping. Highly recommend. The MCU is not all declining, y’all.

This has been one of my favorite books for years and I had high hopes for this movie! The cast seemed spot on to portray the complex characters and deep storyline. However this movie was anything but deep and complex. There was so much rich text to pull from in the book to convey the truths of GOD's redeeming love to the audience, but the message was so watered-down. The movie became more about the relationship of a farmer to a prostitute - and had the racy content and nudity to show for it. Women, don't take your husbands to see this, unless you want them staring at Abigail Cowen's nude body the whole time. The changes made to the story, and the details they left out really did this a disservice. It could have been SOOOO much better.
