Terrible movie. During the movie, I'm pretty sure everyone sympathized with Clyde Shelton's loss of his wife and daughter since the beginning of the movie. And for Jamie Foxx's character, Nick Rice, to only care about his career and let the true killer walk away free is a slap to anyones' face whose family were murdered in front of them. This movie would have been more satisfying if Gerard Butler's character, Clyde Shelton, was the main character in this movie instead of Nick Rice. This movie made Clyde look like the villain in the film when in reality, it's Nick Rice who is the real villain in this movie. All Clyde wanted was to hold the people who let his wife and daughter's killer walk free. This film would have been a true justice story if Nick realized his mistake and lost his job for good or if Clyde succeeded with his plan. More preferably that Nick realized that he's a terrible attorney and should have never ever chosen to become one.
