Terrible Bad writing, bad acting and lots (and I do mean LOTS) of plot holes. Worse example of nepotism I've seen in film. I'm sorry but his daughter can't act. It's not all her fault though, Shyamalan just can't write dialogue anymore. Somewhere after Signs he lost the skill. I genuinely don't understand the 5 stars for this 🤷‍♀️

Way to slow to begin with and took about 5 or 6 episodes to really take off. Script can be very clunky and could've used some finesse. Once it did finally get off the ground however, it was very good. Grim subject nicely and creatively brought to life. Acting was good but could've been better with a stronger script. Worth a watch but requires a commitment!

Very entertaining! This film needed an oscar winning actor to get it over the line and Russell Crowe doesn't disappoint. This isn't trying to be anything more than solid entertainment so leave harsh judgement at the door... so Crowe aged and got a bit overweight, big deal! He's still a good actor. I'm not a fan of lazy jump scares so was pleased they were light in this film. Enjoy x

Fantastically hilarious! So authentically put together this film really does give you a large slice of 1970s American pie. On a par with Boogie Nights with brilliant performances from the two main leads as well as Bradley Cooper who comes in like a hurricane. Overall a really enjoyable film.

First third of the film was ok... and I mean just ok. From there it was downhill. Very muddled story and 'action ' sequences lacked any really drama. There was an absence too of emotive music or any really soundtrack. A few people left the theatre mid film and didn't return which I haven't seen happen in a while. Pretty much in tune with the latter 2 films so if you enjoyed those you might enjoy this.
