It costs about $21.00 on Vudu, and in my opinion totally not worth it. Very weak, storyline, fragmented scenes that end up no where, hard to follow, some over acting in some cases, I don’t even know how the movie made it to the big screen. I watched it mostly because I know Tracey Ellis Ross was very proud of her singing, and how she was looking forward to the movie, but I’ll tell you there was only one singing scene involving her that I saw. There might have been more when I dozed off for a good part of it. I would say if there’s another movie you wanted to see this weekend, « High Note » can definitely wait...
