I think it was a cool take, obviously not the original but like, I still think it was great. The fact that the kids dad was actually dead was the coolest plot twist ever like istg I loved that. I would like to say, I am the younger audience so maybe that's why others don't like it but like it was just so fun, I love fun movies, also it was just funny and funny is my favorite thing ever so like... yeah!! It was really good and I recommend watching it (as long as you aren't gonna be overly upset about it not being the same as the old one)
