This show plays to every cheesy trope imaginable. The will they or won’t they is just tedious. Every woman in this is either angry, desperate or damaged. Seriously what was the deal with the domestic violence? Mel the main character is widowed but is living her life as if she is the one that died because she just can’t get hurt again. Except he wanted a divorce before he died after they lost a child. Seriously?!! The first person she meets is perfect for her somehow and he falls in love with her forgetting that woman he’s been seeing who is now pregnant with twins. She is so sick but has the energy to try and manipulate him. The doctor’s wife is an immature gossip who thinks letting her husband date to conceal their reconciliation even though they split because he cheated with her best friend is a great idea. And again what the hell is the deal with the DV? If all of that is meant to make people keep watching it has failed miserably. I couldn’t finish half of the episodes and the ones that played through was background noise.
