The writing of the story was good and very interesting, however, pulling Jonny Depp from the film definitely caused the movie to lack vigor. Disney turned their back on Mr. Depp and the quality of the movie suffered from it. The fill-in actor for Mr. Grindelwald did not suit the role at all. Along with that, Tina was barely in the movie and Nagini was not addressed at all. As a movie to watch with the family, this would be a good option. As a movie within a 3 book series connecting the stories of many different characters, this movie did poorly with eliminating/changing some of their key actors.
