It’s ok. I’m a few hours in and it doesn’t feel the same as the DLC from Borderlands 3. Item management feels like a chore and the weapons don’t have the same impact. Not worth the $70 price tag to me.

I just got this game. I played about 4 hours and I genuinely regret buying it. It is extremely tedious and honestly not very fun. I bought the game because of my interest in early humans and because I also like survival games, but this thing is so clunky and slow. I do like climbing and jumping through the canopy. Unfortunately, that’s most of what I like. the ham handed crafting makes building things so frustrating (Wait for the chime, then release the button. If you’re 1/16th of a second late with the release you’ll simply destroy your resource) Items are hard to pick up, you can’t see way points while moving, you can’t use any of you’re abilities while moving. You have to upgrade you’re character to be able to drop items and pass them back between your hands while moving. Thanks to some YouTube videos I was able to learn how to craft supplies, but there just isn’t enough to make me want to even play it anymore. Kind of feel like I threw away $40.
