5/5 for a musical. There isn't much 'movie' in regard to plot and character development, but it doesn't take away from the experience.
The Greatest Showman is all about the spectacle and it's fantastic at what it does.
99% of the songs are memorable, perhaps Tightrope is the weakest one (sorry Michelle!), but the ending is fantastic.
Kids will love this movie. It doesn't drag either. They great straight to the set pieces.
The biggest issue is the revisionist history. PT Barnum is a garbage human being who committed atrocities against his slaves.
But if you can get over that, you should enjoy this musical.
