All time great movie in all aspects. I love this movie. This movie is landmark for all movie's director. Indian movies makers should learn from this director how a low budget movie can be all time great milestone.

This is my best movie ever I seen.still I remember in 1992 I was 23 year old.in this modern time bollywood star Amitabh bachchan, jitendra etc were the dominating star.I had some work in Patna museum and everyday I used to visit this museum.one day I saw madhumati poster on Mona cinema hall I couldn't not believe I left my all works and bought ticket and entered. and i can't explain my excitement I enjoyed.I watched Indias greatest successful director Bimal Roy's movie. This is a complete movie I can say. Thanks Bimal Roy,Ritwik Ghatak, Dilip Kumar, Vaijyanti mala ,salil Choudhary,shailendra,for making such a good master piece.

Excellent movie well directed. Moral ethical movie. I think few fifty's Hindi movie's copied plot and scene from this movie. After watching Alfred Hitchcock movies this movie I consider parallel to Hitchcock movies. Good team work David lean.

All-time great movie I ever seen. I love this movie. cinematography is best. Mixing of events is extraordinary. Selection of character for movie is excellent. And the end of movie is beyond imagination.

Personally I like this movie very well directed , excellent music.specially sets of house scene remind me the great Rembrandt work. Finally I would like to say I have never seen a Hollywood movie that all story is focused on a 12 year girl. Thanks to director and his team
