Great movie. Black love movies are usually difficult for a those who don't understand the unique love dynamics of the black diaspora and most really don't.It's cultural, it's spiritual, and it even speaks to our unique soulful experience when it comes to matters of the heart such as love. That all being said - The Photograph is a modestly paced movie that just beautiful too take in like with a deep inhale, and then exhale. Thank goodness hollywood did not put its stamp on this movie because that would have ruined such a beautifully scripted movie and characters. Love is a universal them for everyone, however when it comes to telling "our" stories it is we who do it best
