I am a big fan of Greg Ruck'as comics right from his early work as Queen and Country and Whiteout right up to Black Magik and the Old Guard and Lazarus and each one of these works all have a very well wrote female lead in the series. Stumptown is one I am less familiar with so it's hard to judge how faithful it is to the comic actually but it has a good Rucka feel to it with characters. Codie Smulders is a great fit for the lead but perhaps stealing the show is Cole Sibus as Ansel Parios (Dex's brother). He steals the show as a character who has Down syndrome and is treated as a engaging warm and loving character. It's a low key, charming series which does have elements of the rockford files in it and is generally engaging and fun to watch. Recommended.
