A delightful, uplifting tale of the restoration of both characters. Well acted, directed and written and no two-dimensional characters that are far too common these days.

While the actor performances were all that would be expected, they couldn't make up for the flat writing. This was not the battle of apologetics between great minds that one would have expected, rather just a rehash of all the usual anti-Christian bigotry with no attempt to give Lewis the credit of his own brilliance. Glad I watched it on an AA flight and so didn't pay for it! Sad let down.

Not the historical tale of the man and his life that I'd hoped. Focusing more on his love life than the intrigue and the rise and fall of his star. Disappointed.

Gritty but absolutely. It's all real. No special effects or dummies! True inspiration in the face of evil!
