0 stars if I could. What is the deal with Disney recreating all of these movies and changing up the entire thing? And, the songs and all the extra lalala... like just sing it the way it was written, not with your extra lalalaaa... The reason people were so excited, is because they thought it would be like the original. This was poorly done, end of story. I'm a HUGE Disney movie fan, I grew up in the 80s/90s, so I grew up with some of the best Disney movies: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Cinderella, Fox and the Hound, Oliver and Company, Toy Story, Hercules, Mulan, etc. So far, ALL of the recreated movies have been terrible, completely different, and the actors/actresses and who was chosen for those voices, ruined what could've been an amazing movie(esp. Lion Kind voices = they just sucked). Don't even get me started on Aladdin...🤣🤣🤣 they should be embarrassed by what they did with that movie. All in all, I recommend watching the original Little Mermaid, as well as the originals from Disney. Don't waste your time or money on this or any of the recreated movies. Extremely disappointed in Disney... and yeah, this may be blunt and mean, but sometimes you need to put things out there bluntly, to get through to people...all these comments are directed towards Disney.
