It had potential but got totally lost trying to provide meaningful backstory for the sake of depth - it didn’t work and totally missed the mark. The only authentic part was the trauma bond between “Igor” and Victor Frankenstein. A complete fail.

Good concept, terribly executed. I wanted to like it however it just wasn’t good at all.

I love the concept and the stories of each episode. The acting isn’t super strong which is why I suppose it only lasted one season. Pity. I would have definitely been happy to see more seasons

Not hugely thought provoking but authentic and carried so well by Tom Hanks and Helena Zengel. An enjoyable watch. Definitely worth watching once even though I wouldn’t watch it again.

Post apocalyptic family watch with comedy and action, gross creatures and an endearing main character who finds his strength. Maybe a little scary for kiddos under 10 but no blood - just kid-scary monsters. Overall a good family watch which adults will easily tolerate. Enjoyable.

Outstanding! I’m no critic but I just loved it! Cassie Bowden is complex and selfish and delightful and makes terrible choices, but she’s so likeable. The story develops quickly and goes from light and fun to dark and action packed, with plenty of twists and turns. There’s only one weird part to the story that seems convoluted for no known reason only to serve its purpose in the last 5 minutes of the miniseries. Once it’s revealed, you go hmm that was unnecessary. I won’t plot spoil that part but if you notice it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you don’t, then that’s lucky for you! Otherwise this is smart, funny, intense and just so good to watch. Highly recommended!

The concept is so good. The delivery is a little poor. But I’m looking forward to season two. Some things take a season or so to settle into great. I’m hoping this is one of those things
