Donald Byrd's at his very best blowing that trumpet....Pepper Adams comes along with his sax and BAM, the two, as they say "make wonderful Music." And dude who wrote "Jeannine" Duke Pearson on piano lets everyone know that Jeannine is me, I am Jeannine.....But then everybody is crushing it on this cut from 1960.
One hell of a cut to post on my page to help celebrate "Jazz Appreciation Month"....
