This show is mildly overrated. Still I’d recommend watching it for a past-time, or if you enjoy slightly comical shows with the cliche over powered character. But it’s nothing very special. It has a unique plot though and overall decent animation design. So, as long as something with better reviews isn’t on the table, I’d say give it a try.

Absolutely breath taking anime. The story originated from mid 1900’s and the way the 2019 animation is portraying is nothing short of perfection. Genuinely the best “one season anime” I’ve ever watched. When judging a show I always ask myself “what could they have done differently”, and here I have no answer to that. 100% a show that will have you heart broken that it’s ending, aswell as have you craving for more! Rating A+ :only reason it isn’t S teir is due to the fact there are only 24 episodes.

Solid B teir anime . They throw you into a kind of confusing “hook” and the plots all over the place in multiple parts of this short anime. Decent start and solid Ending but middle episodes around 11-19 made me want to stop watching because of how boring it was. Just felt like a bunch of fillers due to how random the plot was. Overall enjoyed it though , slightly overhyped.

Wow. Just wow I’ve been watching anime for quite some time now and never have I felt more emotional attachment to an anime like this before, especially from a short 11 episode anime. But the story is so strong character dev is 10/10 and plot twists you never see coming . Akame ya kill vibes definitely. Only 1 season anime that gets a S teir from me .

Unbelievably good anime. Beautiful plot that drags you straight into the life of Ken Kaneki all throughout the 4 seasons perfectly tugging on your heart strings. Character development on all occasions 10/10 throughout aswell as beautiful relationship developing , and gorgeous animating especially in fight sequence throughout. In the end it’s one of those anime that would make you remember why you fell in love with anime in the first place.

Overall was enjoyable to watch, but this anime is a perfect example of why it’s so difficult to make a good anime in just 12 episodes.The plot was mediocre and there was a lot of confusing “holes” in many of the scenes that never get answered. On top of that the character build was minimal but they did what they could with the short amount of episodes in the season. Not to mention this anime is legit a soft core “hentai “ so be warned.

Very underrated anime. The plot and character build is amazing for the short 13 episodes, along with the good touch of effects on the fights.Although it is a very “edgy” anime if you aren’t into something like and want a less “Lude” approach that still relates to this anime but is more touchy on those other topics I mentioned than I would recommend Overlord.
