After reading other reviews, I had much higher expectations. Do you want a run-of-the-mill ghost story that takes itself too seriously and tries to be artsy with no real depth of plot? Then, here's a movie for you. It was ok, not the worst I've seen, but far from the best.

I thought this was a pretty good mystery/horror/suspense. Enough twists to keep me interested up to the end. It did get pretty slow in parts but overall I enjoyed it. It's much better than the ratings numbers on rotten tomatoes would have you believe.

I actually enjoyed the ending, which for horror/thriller films is the most important part to me. But it was slow, with nothing special about the dialogue or acting. Maybe because it was so slow and I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have throughout, I was surprised by the ending. But I went back through the film after finishing it to look for some of the clues to the ending, which were present, so it might be an obvious ending if you're paying attention the whole time 🤷🏽‍♀️

Spent most of the movie yelling common sense at the TV. Fast forwarded through the last 20 minutes and missed absolutely nothing. Poorly written characters doing stupid things in an overly long, anticlimactic film. What a waste of an hour and a half.
