Here we are, more than 40 years since the book was published and almost 30 years since the original miniseries was broadcasted and we now have a refreshed telling of one of King's best novels. I reread the book before watching because it's been a couple decades since I last read it. There were some changes but that was expected. Times have changed in the last 40 years and the story wouldn't work today if it was portrayed exactly as written. This was an enjoyable remake and was definitely worth the watch.
