This story could have been told in one season. Too many repeated scenarios: children not listening to parents and get everyone in a life or death jam, too many encounters with the aliens where the main characters should have died but conveniently escaped. Too many anxious pregnant pauses.

This story has so many big holes that a fleet of tractor trailers could drive thru them. The opening credits are more fun to watch than the rest of it. I don't fault the actors. Give them believable dialog and a less contrieved, forced plot. The payoff is not worth it. Can't imagine how torturous the book is. Like some others, I expected better because I enjoyed The Stranger.
