It tries but doesn’t deliver. It wants to be The Day After Tomorrow and 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is neither; not that the former is too good either. It is slow moving - which means plodding. The plot is jibberish. I am not sure the point of the movie except to amuse in the non-comedic sense of stupidity and absurdity combined. Who was the adult in the room that concluded this movie was fit for human consumption? In summary: Terrible is being kind.
