I was mostly disappointed with this show the plot was very mediocre I feel there was an underutilization of Greek characters the writing was a very strange and convenient and a lot of places which I understand comes from Greek myth but in a TV show I don't really think it works and most of the characters don't really have any development except for heron. Everyone here is also praising the animation but I think this comes from misconception the art like the character art is very good the characters look very nice but the animation is stiff and sometimes awkward there are a few spots with some pretty good animation mostly revolving around Zeus and lightning effects but most of the time it's dodgy and strange, probably as a cost-cutting measure due to how detailed the art is. although the same animation studio has provided the same quality of art with very smooth and dynamic animation in the Castlevania series so I'm not sure why the animation is so stiff in this one. I feel like the best animated sequence is probably the one of Hermes parting the clouds. overall thought the plot was not very engaging and was taken out of the experience several times due to character actions that I didn't find believable in the animation was mostly underwhelming with beautiful art three stars.
