This was a fantastic movie and very well acted! Small minds will always find something to pull down; i.e. religious undertones, the fact that Bagger Vance was black. Mindless focus. This is a great story of dealing with diversity, and possibly with the help of God. In today's PC world, it is no surprise that people try to tear it down.
