The movie's plot though takes the path of vigilante justice. There is a very powerful and relevant point the audience and the society missed from this movie is about the right to bear arms. The disproportionate power the gangs of men or gangs in general have over Individuals in scenarios and places where the Law breaks down temporarily & natural dispositions a.k.a Animalistic nature of Humans as a species comes out, at times and places where social rules temporarily gets suspended, for example in deserted places, at wrong time of the day when people retire home or in other instances when violent crimes happen right in the heart of a bustling market.
The instances when crimes happen between a perpetrator and a victim. The major disproportionate advantage with the criminals is a weapon of choice mostly illegal which a law abiding citizen is cannot have. This movie explores that equalising agent of having the power of Intelligence and a weapon that allows you to seek justice. But imagine a society if law abiding citizens and women were armed such advantage of criminals ganging up on individuals, women, intimidating and violating their honour could be prevented with lethal Weapons that if law allows for every law abiding citizen to get license to and carry at all times, then threats to life and modesty posed by these anti-social anti-human elements who are better off being neutralised ( Menaing If you use a weapon or deadly violent attack to kill me I have every right to take your life ) have the right to neutralise threats with reasonable evidence that use of force was just.
