The level of negative expectation I had for this film prior to its release was compounded knowing Hellboy would have a new title role. I never could’ve been more wrong. This film was executed ingeniously and carried with it a refreshing take on the same humor we knew from the first two films. In other words, they achieved the impossible. This was entertaining every second, and left me only in disappointment the film wasn’t another hour longer. I look forward to the next sequel, bravo.
