Game of Thrones felt like it was on earth in medieval Europe. If you accept the Witcher's realm as otherworldly, you won't cringe at the dialogue in this show that is some version of Hollywood's depiction of 12th century English with sprinkles of modern English. People are used to the GOT universe "rules" so they get squirmy as I did when I first heard these characters speak and saw how the courtiers behaved. Finally I settled in and, Voila! I was able to completely enjoy this show! This is a whole new fantasy land that will not disappoint.
