This game is a masterpiece, from the story to the gameplay, to the environment. this game is truly how a game should be narrated. It is not for the light-hearted for sure but it literally plays with your emotion and sets itself apart from the cliche 'good vs bad person' narrative. It makes you question how these villains are made and make you realize there is not a good or a bad side, there are just bad and the worst people. The ending can be debatable, I do understand where they are coming from and if popular anime like Naruto can get away with doing this with every villain, I think Ellie can too. The ending also shows the price that you have to pay for getting your revenge, the scene where Ellie is playing the guitar in the ending is sad, but nonetheless, it's very powerful. Showing where the hatred really takes a person. I still believe that Last of Us 2 got unjustified hatred, the reasons are not my concern at this point, but I do believe that this game is a masterpiece. Naughty Dog did it again, bravo.
