A well acted movie I think, but seeing as it is (I believe) supposed to be based on true events,it is also very sad and yes idolatrous.First of all when he(or anyone) believes that there is no reason to be saved by Jesus Christ in order to be with God,He has essentially called Jesus Christ a liar,He has called the Holy Bible lies and is no longer preaching the gospel.Jesus says I Am The Way,The Truth,and The life.And NO MAN comes to The Father but through me.Thats pretty straightforward.And it makes no difference of youre Unitarian,or Jehovahs witness,or anything else you call youre self,If you cant accept or believe that very straightforward statement by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,Not only are you dishonoring The Father,Youre dishonoring His only begotten Son.And it is heresy plain and simple.
