If I could rate this movie a 0, I would. Terrible plot, it had no idea where it was going or what it set out to achieve. The acting was sub-par, no outstanding performances really. The set was beautiful ofcourse because it was filmed at the Palace of Versailles... and I guess that was where all the budget went since the makeup and costumes were LACKING to put it politely. Before the ballroom scene, the handmaiden said that the men wear makeup aswell... cut to the ballroom 1 minute later and none of the men wear powdered wigs or the typical aristocratic makeup French men wore at that time. The women looked like they were at a 2000s prom. As a period-drama lover... this was just utterly disappointing. The pacing of the movie was also seriously horrendous... again, no substance or drama or anything really. There are plenty of family-friendly fantasy movies that are miles better than this - with great acting and editing and story lines. Just don't bother with this movie. Massive waste of time.

No idea why I've only just watched this show. I can honestly say I like this even more than Adventure Time??? The music, the art, the comedy and just the whole old-timey vibe. I just wish there were more episodes and that it had a longer watch time, because I can't get enough. Also been singing potatoes and molasses in my head all day haha.
