Good plot, based on real incident. Though it doesn't have action packed sequence, it expose human nature during adverse situation and compassion. A must watch movie for all.

Well made screenplay, though the movie feels dragging it never fails to rattle our mind during conclusion. Not just sci-fi it is a absolute thriller movie as well. Good attempt by the crew, due to budget restriction CG work doesn't fit perfectly. Still, had sufficient effect on us. Had strong story and screenplay. Few shots where unnecessary. The begining 5min scene I still don't get it what is the need? and what value it offered to the story?. Similarly few character appear and disappear suddenly. Apart from such small glitch this movie is good and worth watching.

Visual media is so powerful which could devolve such ideas with a greater impact than any medium. I/we might have come across very few such movies, those stories will be loosely based on fictional characters trying to motivate and raise people. I got a chance to watch a movie named "If I am President" a Nigerian movie (my first Nigerian movie). Which I believe is developed based on real-life incidents happening in Nigeria. The fact that this movie stays in my heart because of the protagonist's action and the screenplay. fact #1 the protagonist is a normal civilian fact #2 the protagonist has goodwill on his society fact #3 the protagonist is confronted with a real-life society issue or let us say day to day social issues fact #4 the protagonist's handling issues are 100% genuine and practical. Rather than indulging in a superhuman action. fact #5 Protagonist's actions instill the idea in the viewer's heart and it leaves its footprint forever. I would say it is a fantastic movie which all nation people deserves to watch it. It has the capacity to resonate within us. Any countrymen/women/children can understand the struggle we face in our society. It is a 100% political film that raises our eyebrows with how close the screenplay has stuck with reality. Not even a single shot is wasted or looks forced or lagging each and every shot keeps you engaged. A story that shows the modern society's struggle by placing the common man at its epicenter. Bright Wonder O. Obasi the writer/director/producer of "If I am President" hit's the bullseye. I don't want to engulf more into the technical portion, but my one-word feedback is "Awesome". This movie has set a new bench mark in his carrier. Previously he used to say that #iraivi as his best performance movie but this movie has raised the bar to a greater extend. Each character has space but SJ Surya score every time and being an audience, I was like where is SJ Surya. You won't like him to leave the screen not even a second. A fresh acting method, every scenes bring the variation in his face every dialogue has a strong impact in audience, most of them are funny because of the dark comedy. I really loved director selva for a real feast, even though the movie got delayed say like 5 years (not sure) you will never get tired of the story and screenplay. Most of the time you will forget the story and you will enjoy the acting and following the dialogues. My favourite portions of directors touch are placement of songs, the way he presented the struggle of a ghost to save a kid from drowning, jail song that was completely flattering I didn't expect a song at that scene but it came and conquered me, the way he showed how the ghost is been promoted from one form to another till the end. Especially the drowning scene, he is a genius and Tamil industry is proud to have him. If a normal human falls in a swimming pool we know how it feels, but what if a ghost is in to it.
