Brilliant. Wayne took a chance playing a character (Ethan) fueled and motivated by hatred. Jeffrey Hunter's character will discover the depth of Ethan''s hatred as they attempt to recover a kidnapped family member.

Well made WWII spy adventure, by Alistair, so could be true story, at least partially. Crisp economic script with excellent casting. Mind screwing scene in boardroom of high command is first rate.

I was never a big fan of Philadelphia Story, nor Heartburn, for that matter. I do like High Society; however, on which it was loosely based. A farce like this is probably best as a musical and can't go wrong with Porter, Armstrong Sinatra and Crosby. Kelly makes the multiple suitor role plausible.
